Project description
Electron beam welding has been integrated into our production to enhance the quality, flexibility, and expertise in manufacturing internal sealing geometries (liners) for COPVs. Previously outsourced to a supplier with Peak employee supervision, this transition ensures greater control over the welding process, improving efficiency and reliability. Electron beam welding is chosen for its superior process stability and repeatability compared to other techniques like laser or plasma welding. This technology meets stringent aerospace industry requirements, such as ECSS standards, demanding a highly stable and traceable process with minimal variability. By minimizing process fluctuations, non-destructive testing can focus on necessary assessments, guaranteeing the highest quality and reliability while optimizing workflow efficiency.
