Prepreg Hand-Lay-Up

With this process we are in a position to manufacture components with complex geometries and differing material combinations.

Using detailed laminating instructions, our employees manufacture components of greatly differing sizes. Components of the highest stability and quality can be produced as a result of curing in autoclaves with the vacuum bag process. Our many years of experience with materials such as carbon, glass, ceramic and zylon fibre enable suitable solutions for all requirements.

Lost Core Technology

The "Lost Core" Technology developed by Peak Technology has the capability to produce excellent surface qualities on the inside and outside of components with complex geometries.

This opens up completely new opportunities for the design of fibre composites. Even geometric undercuts no longer pose a problem in the production process. This technology is ideal for the production of components that carry flowing media such as air, water and oil, for example, where a minimum flow resistance is essential.

Winding Technology

Peak Technology uses 6-axis winding robots to offer maximum versatility. These are able to wind complex spatial structures, not just rotationally symetric components.

The combination of high-end winding simulation and the use of pre-impregnated materials (towpregs) enable the production of components of a previously unseen quality. These systems work at up to 3 times the production speed compared to conventional winding machines - a decisive cost benefit. Only PEAK Technology can offer this combination of high process reliability, fast production and lower costs.

CNC Machining Centre

Regardless of whether it is tool making or the final machining of carbon fibre reinforced plastic components, Peak Technology has the appropriate know-how and the necessary machinery.

With two 5-axis and one 3-axis milling machine, we are able to machine tools, inserts and even components with Zylon with extreme precision. Rotationally symmetric components can also be machined to µm precision using the CNC lathe and cylindrical grinding machine.

High Pressure Prepreg Injection (HPPI)

THE HPPI PROCESS OPENS A PRODUCTION OF SIMPLE AS WELL AS HIGHLY COMPLEX GEOMETRIES WITH TIGHT TOLERANCES AND A PERFECT REPRODUCIBILITY.

Due to short cycle times and low unit costs, this technology is particularly suitable for small to medium batch production. Thus PEAK Technology is able to process the most varied of fibre types and resin systems in order to meet all the customer-specific requirements of the product to be manufactured.
